The Cookeville Fire Department has not washed white shirts with red towels. In showing support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, firefighters will be sporting pink shirts the month of October. Engineer Jeff Emerson, Reserve Engineer Kurt Craig, Captain Tom Brown, Firefighter Jon Dukes and Chief Roger Fuqua proudly wear the pink shirts to remind eveyone to take the steps needed to stop this disease.
