City of Cookeville – Department of Water Quality Control – Office Manager

The City of Cookeville, Dept. of Water Quality Control is now accepting applications for the position of Office Manager.  High school diploma or equivalent and a valid TN driver’s license are required.  An Associate’s degree in public administration, business, accounting or related discipline plus three to four years of office administration, accounts payable, and related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required. Processing new accts, billing, work orders, sewer permits, accepts payments, maintains records and collects data, prepares state & EPA required reports; plans & attends meetings, processes department payroll, sick & vacation leave; filing, correspondence, answers telephones, greets public and serves as receptionist.  Annual pay range $32,302 - $48,433 DOE.
