Class Descriptions

 

  • Ab-solutely Core
    This class is the absolute best combination of exercises focusing on your abs, glutes and back.  It will incorporate different methods including strength training, traditional toning and using the Bender Ball method for abs.

  • Beginner Step
    This is a moderate intensity cardio workout focusing on basic step aerobic principles.  For anyone who has never stepped before, this class is a good way to learn the language and basics of step aerobics.  All levels are always welcome.

  • Chair Yoga
    This is a unique yoga style that adapts yoga positions through creative use of a chair.  The chair will replace a yoga mat and all postures will be performed sitting on the chair for support or will be performed standing using the chair for stability.  Chair yoga is suitable for all ages, fitness levels and physical conditions.  Seniors are highly encouraged to join the class.

  • Cardio Max
    There is no need to have to choose a favorite cardio class anymore! This mix combines Spin, Step and Latin Dance! You will get the maximum burn with the maximum variety!

  • Cardio-Sculpt
    An excellent low impact aerobic workout incorporating the best of aerobics with an extended segment for muscular conditioning. Hand weights, resistance bands and elastic tubing will be used to build strength and increase muscle definition.

  • Classic Step
    Step classes offer a high intensity, yet low impact, workout that utilizes a raised step platform to provide a stair-climbing effect.  Step exercises are described to be as effective as running a seven-minute mile, only easier on the joints.

  • Fat Blaster
    Who doesn't want to blast fat?!! This class is a combination of high energy, fat burning cardio intervals, core moves and total body sculpting, all in just 45 minutes! It's designed for those who want to get the most out of the time they have for themselves and have fun while doing it!

  • Kick & Step
    This class takes two genres of cardio and fuses them together! You will get the best of both step aerobics and kickboxing combined in one hour.

  • R.I.P.P.E.D.
    This total body high intensity program utilizes free weights, resistance and body weight.  It creates a "Plateau Proof Fitness Formula".  Changing the focus and activities every 9-6 minutes this workout stimulates energy and muscles with motivating music and participants jam through each session!

  • Spin
    This indoor cycling class is a fun and challenging cardiovascular workout for all fitness levels.  Participants can choose their personal intensity through body positioning and bike tension.  Spinning is a great way to burn a maximum amount of calories!

  • Stretch Fusion
    This class incorporates a range of dynamic and static stretches as well as core strengthening exercises.  It's ideal for those who need to recharge during the middle of the day!

  • STAC (strength training and conditioning)
    Using hand weights and resistance bands, participants gain strength, flexibility and increase muscle definition.  This one-hour class will work through every major muscle group.  The class provides some cardiovascular work in addition to building lean muscle tissue, increases muscle definition and boosts metabolism without building bulk or size.

  • Spin & Sculpt/Step & Sculpt
    This high energy class combines spinning or step aerobics with sculpting intervals.  It is the perfect combination of cardio and muscle conditioning.  Participants will get their heart rate up and use a variety of resistance equipment for sculpting.  All fitness levels are welcome.

  • Turbo Kick
    Turbo Kick is an addictive workout that combines shadow boxing, kick boxing, sport drills and simple dance moves in a party atmosphere.  This is an interval based class that allows participants of any fitness level to participate and custom tailor their workout. Get ready to kick, punch and groove the calories away. Seen on TV as Turbo Jam!

  • Yoga Flow
    Vinyasa Flow, similar to a dynamic dance, is a practice where postures or asanas are synchronized with the breath.  The overall practice revolves around Sun Salutations and engages prana, or energy found within the breath, leaving the participant feeling energized and centered.  This practice builds strength, endurance, flexibility and balance offering one an opportunity to find mediation through mindful movement and breath work.

 

Lunch Express Class Descriptions


  • Stretch Fusion
    This class incorporates a range of dynamic and static stretches as well as core strengthening exercises.  It's ideal for those who need to recharge during the middle of the day!
  • STAC
    Participants will gain strength, flexibility and increase muscle definition in just 30 minutes! By increasing the intensity of the strength training, the calorie burning effect lasts even after the workout is over!



    CANE CREEK BOOT CAMP
  • We are excited to announce that our next Boot Camp begins April 12th, 2012 and runs through May 10th, 2012.
  • Classes will meet on Mondays & Thursdays @ 5:30pm and Saturdays @ 8:00am.
  • Cost is $75 for single and $125 for two.
