Cane Creek Boot Camp

If you’ve been putting off starting a new fitness routine, now is the time to jump in with both feet! Our new Cane Creek Boot Camp is a four week long session that meets three times per week for a total of 13 classes.  Participants will undergo a before and after fitness assessment that includes lower body strength, body mass index, core strength, flexibility and cardio fitness.  Classes will meet for one hour and be conducted at Cane Creek Park, weather permitting.

Classes Meet:
 Mon 5:30pm, Thur 5:30pm & Sat 7:30am

Date:  March 13th-April 10th  

Cost:  $75.00 per person OR sign up with a friend for $125.00

 Class Descriptions

  • 20/20/20
    Refresh, Revive & Rebuild! This class has the perfect combination of any participant's needs! Refresh with stretching, yoga and pilates exercises then Revive with twenty minutes of low impact, classic floor aerobics and finally, Rebuild and increase muscle tone with light weights and toning exercises.

  • Ab-solutely Core
    This class is the absolute best combination of exercises focusing on your abs, glutes and back.  It will incorporate different methods including strength training, traditional toning and using the Bender Ball method for abs.

  • Beginner Step
    This is a moderate intensity cardio workout focusing on basic step aerobic principles.  For anyone who has never stepped before, this class is a good way to learn the language and basics of step aerobics.  All levels are always welcome.

  • Gentle Yoga
    This class is for those who are new to yoga or who just want to reduce tension.  Basic Yoga can improve one's balance, flexibility, posture and circulation by using postures that strengthen lower back, abdominal muscles, legs and upper body.  This class nurtures the mind and strengthens the body!

  • Cardio-Sculpt
    An excellent low impact aerobic workout incorporating the best of aerobics with an extended segment for muscular conditioning. Hand weights, resistance bands and elastic tubing will be used to build strength and increase muscle definition.

  • Classic Step
    Step classes offer a high intensity, yet low impact, workout that utilizes a raised step platform to provide a stair-climbing effect.  Step exercises are described to be as effective as running a seven-minute mile, only easier on the joints.

  • Double Step
    This step class offers the same low impact benefits of classic step but with a twist.  This class is perfect for those experienced steppers looking for a great cardio workout using multiple steps and more advanced choreography.

  • Fitness Yoga
    Classroom exercises combine century old desciplines such as yoga, tai chi and mat based Pilates with basic stretching and breathing for improved health and relaxation.  Graceful movements will energize and strengthen the body core, lengthen muscles and dissolve stress.  The movements and exercises are user-friendly forms and techniques that have no barriers because of age, body type or athletic ability.
     

  • SPIN
    This indoor cycling class is a fun and challenging cardiovascular workout for all fitness levels.  Participants can choose their personal intensity through body positioning and bike tension.  Spinning is a great way to burn a maximum amount of calories!

  • STAC (strength training and conditioning)
    Using hand weights and resistance bands, participants gain strength, flexibility and increase muscle definition.  This one-hour class will work through every major muscle group.  The class provides some cardiovascular work in addition to building lean muscle tissue, increases muscle definition and boosts metabolism without building bulk or size.

  • Step & Sculpt
    This high energy class combines classic step with sculpting intervals.  It is the perfect combination of cardio and muscle conditioning.  Participants will get their heart rate up and use a variety of resistance equipment for sculpting.  Some step knowledge is recommended but all fitness levels are welcome.

  • Nuclear Fusion
    This power packed class will always keep participants guessing! It combines kickboxing techniques, strength training moves, plyometric drills and core building exercises.  Each class will be a new combination of challenging, high-energy fun leaving you feeling charged, prepared and equipped for life.

  • Turbo Kick
    Turbo Kick is an addictive workout that combines shadow boxing, kick boxing, sport drills and simple dance moves in a party atmosphere.  This is an interval based class that allows participants of any fitness level to participate and custom tailor their workout. Get ready to kick, punch and groove the calories away. Seen on TV as Turbo Jam!

 

Lunch Express Class Descriptions


  • Cardio
    Participants will do a variety of fast paced, high intensity cardio exercises.  This class allows those with a busy schedule to squeeze in a workout by increasing the intensity!
  • Stretch/Yoga
    This class incorporates a range of dynamic and static stretches as well as core strengthening exercises.  It's ideal for those who need to recharge during the middle of the day!
  • STAC
    Participants will gain strength, flexibility and increase muscle definition in just 30 minutes! By increasing the intensity of the strength training, the calorie burning effect lasts even after the workout is over!
