
The Cookeville History Museum opened its new location at 40 East Broad Street across from City Hall in the former Respiratory Home Care, Inc. building in April 2007. We are thrilled with our new location and look forward to having you come out and enjoy our community's history exhibited in our new facility. Children's History Hour
We are excited to announce our new Children’s History Hour! Meeting the second Saturday of every month, the Cookeville History Museum will host a story and activity time geared towards 1st-4th graders. The story begins at 10:30am and the staff asks that parents remain in attendance with their children.

If you have missed the past four Cemetery Walks, join the Cookeville History Museum for the exhibit, “Walking With Our Friends, Again: Remembering Our Cemetery Walks.” This exhibit is currently on display and will close September 18.

The Cookeville Museums are proud to present the fifth
Cookeville Cemetery Walk on September 18 at 6:00 and at 8:30pm! Tickets will go on sale at the Cookeville Performing Arts Center on Monday, September 13 at 9:00am. For tickets call 528.1313.
Coming at the end of September we will present our next exhibit, “Boogers, Haunts, Haints and Other Strange Happenings in Upper Cumberland Folklore”! This will open at the Cookeville History Museum on September 28 and go through November 13.
