On display is an HO scale replica of what Cookeville, TN’s Westside looked like in the summer of 1955. It was then that the Tennessee Central Railroad stopped its daily passenger trains. Prior to this, Cookeville had six Tennessee Central passenger trains a day. On the other side of the diorama is a replica of a coal tipple with a model train loading up with coal. In the renovated L&N Caboose, the exhibit "Working on the Railroad: The Right Tool for the Right Job" is currently on display. For more information on our exhibits or activities pleaes call the Depot at 931.528.8570.
