Cookeville Leisure Services is excited to announce 2013 Dogapalooza's TOP DOG....Annie!!  She was selected out of twelve worthy entries.

Annie is an English Springer Spaniel and loyal companion to Hannah Steger of Cookeville.  Annie has earned the AKC Canine Good Citizen Award and is a certified Therapy Dog.  She visits schools, nursing homes and the library on a regular basis.  She is helping to encourage reading, teaching kids about bullying, and how to be responsible dog owners.


Come out and meet Annie during Dogapalooza at Dogwood Park on Saturday, April 6th, 1-4pm.

Cookeville Leisure Services announces exciting news for Dogapalooza: University of Tennessee Mascot SMOKEY X will attend this year's event.


Evan Betterton, Smokey's handler, confirmed today that indeed Smokey X will be in Cookeville for the 4th Annual Dogapalooza at Dogwood Park, Saturday, April 6th, 1-4pm.

Spread the word and come out to meet Smokey X.



Leisure Services is excited to announce The 4th Annual Dogapalooza at Dogwood Park coming Saturday, April 6th, 2013 1-4pm! We are happy to bring an event to our community where citizens and their pets can enjoy a fun day together!
Dogapalooza at Dogwood Park will consist of various animal demonstrations, an off-leash play area, an agility course, vendors, activities for owners and dogs, educational areas and a Kid's Dog Show.  There will also be a silent auction with all proceeds going to benefit the Cookeville Putnam County Animal Shelter. Make plans to come out and bid high to benefit a great cause! Dogwood Park is located at 30 E. Broad Street, Cookeville, TN.
