Architectural Standards Now Effective

On June 5, 2009 Architectural Design Requirements became effective within the City of Cookeville. The requirements apply to the exterior sides of all multi-family residential and commercial developments and to some industrial developments. Single-family residential homes are exempt. A Certificate of Approval must be obtained before a Building Permit can be issued for applicable projects. The new requirements may be viewed on this website either separately as Ordinance No. O09-04-04 or as part of the Cookeville Zoning Code (Section 208A).
