Subdivision Regulations

The following links are to the Subdivision Regulations for the City of Cookeville and its Planning Region. The Subdivision Regulations consist of 14 Articles numbered Article I to Article XIV and include appendices numbered Appendix A to Appendix F.

The Subdivisions Regulations apply not only to property within the corporate limits of Cookeville but also to an area outside the corporate limits identified as the Cookeville Planning Region. The Cookeville Planning Region follows the city’s Urban Growth Boundary, which may be viewed here.

The Cookeville Regional Planning Commission adopted the Cookeville Subdivision Regulations on April 24, 2000 and were amended on March 25, 2002.
