National Night Out – August 2, 2005

It is impossible for the Alumni Association to be all it can be without YOU! It takes ALL of us working together to be effective in supporting the CPD with the many areas where our help is needed. We are coming up on a very busy time of year and we really need YOU to be a part of the success of NATIONAL NIGHT OUT. The next regular meeting will be very important in the planning of this event and YOU can be a part of making this the best NATIONAL NIGHT OUT we have presented to our community yet.

Sgt. Lewis Gooding will be retiring June 28, 2005. We would like to welcome Officer James Harris & his partner, K9 “Jim,” from Algood PD to Cookeville PD. The Alumni helped with the purchase of K9 “Jim.” Also – CPD acquired 2 K9 Bloodhounds from Brushy Mountain: please welcome K9 “Colonel Big Daddy” and K9 “Dargo.”

Reminder – active alumni have the opportunity to ride-along (dues must be current)
